Welcome to our lobbying page! You are here as either a lobbyist or employer of lobbyists and wish to learn about and how to meet your legal obligations to train, register, and file reports with the Alaska Public Offices Commission.
Most answers and instructions can be found in the Lobbying Manual (pdf; 2.2 MB; updated September 2012), so please save a copy and keep it on your computer as a reference.
Annual training is required for lobbyist and employers of lobbyist. Facilitator-lead training sessions are scheduled each year in Anchorage, Fairbanks, and Juneau. Please visit our page on Lobbying Ethics Training for the current calendar and information on how to sign-up for training.
Annual registration as a lobbyist or employer of lobbyists is completed on-line through the Insight system, which is part of the MyAlaska suite of online services.
All those engaged in lobbying, either as lobbyists or employers of lobbyists are required to make periodic reports through the Insight system (part of MyAlaska).
