NOTICE:On Friday, April 5, 2013, the legislature passed Senate Bill 12 (SB12), which modifies the state’s procurement code and increases the small procurement threshold. While this bill has passed the legislative process, it is not effective until the governor signs it. Upon signature, the bill becomes law and is effective immediately. However, the small procurement threshold increase will not be accessible until changes to the Alaska Administrative Code are made. Until such time, all current thresholds and associated procurement procedures must be observed.
