Extension of Nome Office closure on November 10, 2011 |
Due to weather, the Governor's Office has directed state offices to extend the closure in Nome to tomorrow – Thursday, November 10, 2011. State employees involved in protecting the health and safety of Alaskans (certain offices within the Departments of Public Safety, Corrections, and the Alaska Pioneer Homes and other 24-hour facilities) are required to remain at work unless on approved leave.
Please use extreme caution while driving.
We will continue to monitor the weather. Please check for further updates at http://www.alaska.gov/ and http://doa.alaska.gov/. Any announcements will also be available on the State Office Closure message line, at statewide toll-free at 877-326-5551.
